Richard N. Slawson Southeast Occupational Center

The Richard N. Slawson Southeast Occupational Center is a career technical education constructed for the Los Angeles Unified School District.  The new 85,000 square foot facility encompasses  three buildings on approximately 13 acres of land in Bell, California. It serves the needs 15,000 to 20,000 students in the Southeast Los Angeles County, providing prerequisite courses that are needed to enter apprenticeships or postsecondary CTE certificate or degree programs. Courses are offered in the fields of Building Trades and Construction, Energy and Utilities, Engineering and Design, Cosmetology and Green Automotive Technology.
